Abstract: The disclosed forming apparatus includes a frame. The frame defines a vertical axis, a horizontal axis, and a longitudinal axis. A carriage is movably connected to the frame. A first stomp foot is movably connected to the carriage such that it may move along the vertical axis. A first end effector is movably connected to the carriage. The first end effector is controlled by an actuator. The disclosed method for forming a composite part includes applying at least one ply of composite material over a forming surface of a forming tool and deforming the at least one ply of composite material over the forming surface of the forming tool with a forming apparatus.

Abstract: A grade bracket for use with concrete form systems is disclosed. In one embodiment, the grade bracket forms part of a concrete form system that includes a plurality of form components, including straight forms, curved radius forms, and skin panels for interconnecting form components. The form components are assembled atop a ground surface and are configured to define a volume for containing poured concrete. Grade brackets for supporting the form components at a desired grade above the ground are used. Each grade bracket includes a body, a form support member, and a grade knob. The form support member attaches to the body and includes a bracket portion that supports the form component. The grade knob includes an eye-bolt. A stake secured in the ground is selectively engaged by the eye-bolt of the grade knob such that the grade bracket is maintained at a desired position on the stake.

Abstract: The present invention is a trench kicker for use in a concrete form system. A trench kicker is configured to provide lateral support to concrete form panels on horizontal surfaces as well as along embankments or trench walls. Features of the embodiments of trench kickers disclosed herein include horizontal and/or vertical adjustment of the form panel height and/or angle of the form panel relative to vertical. Another feature is selective tension adjustment along a horizontal support member. The trench kickers are configured to receive one or more stakes for secure placement into ground.

Abstract: Disclosed is a tilt-up wall system that defines a space to receive a material, such as concrete. The system can include a plurality of forms and an opening system. The opening system defines the location of an opening that will receive a window, door, or other structure mountable or installable into the tilt-up wall. The opening system can include one or more corner assemblies, one or more spacer members, one or more lower supports, and one or more upper supports.

Abstract: The invention is an integral form panel for use in concrete form systems. Embodiments of an integral form panel may include a flat panel portion including a plurality of grade slots configured for receiving a grade clip and a plurality of tie slots configured for receiving a tie therein. The integral form panel may further include a top lip adjacent to an upper edge of the flat panel portion, the top lip including a plurality of holes configured for receiving a stake therein. Embodiments of a concrete form system including the integral form panel and methods of using same to form concrete footings are also disclosed.
