The roadway barrier may also include a key and keyway design for connecting adjacent roadway barriers together and transferring forces generally orthogonal to the elongated body to adjacent roadway barriers. The roadway barrier may have a support bracket coupled to the roadway barrier for transferring forces generally parallel to the elongated body to adjacent barriers.
