  • Patent number: 6821768
Abstract: The invention relates to microorganism producing 5′-xanthylic acid. A 3,4-dehydro-DL-proline resistant Corynebacterium ammoniagenes CJXPK001 strain is provided for producing 5′-xanthylic acid. It is a mutant strain of Corynebacterium ammoniagenes KFCC 10743 having a lower resistance to 3,4-dehydro-DL-proline. The mutant strain is not affected by osmotic pressure caused by accumulated, highly concentrated solute in a culture medium, and it can produce 5′-xanthylic acid at a high yield and concentration rate.

  • Publication number: 20040067307
Abstract: The purging of photoresist from a supply device of semiconductor coating equipment is automatically executed in a controlled manner. The equipment employs a plurality of photoresist bottles for storing the same kind of photoresist. A plurality of supply pipes are respectively connected to the photoresist bottles, respectively. A valve system selectively opens and closes the supply pipes in response to control signals generated by a main controller. A dispense pump forces the photoresist in the open supply pipe through a nozzle. A purge start button issues a purge start command signal to the controller when the button is pressed. The controller then controls the valve system and the dispense pump so as to automatically purge the photoresist according to a sequence effected using a timer.

  • Publication number: 20030078194
Abstract: The present invention provides pro-micelle compositions comprising a pharmaceutically active agent encapsulated with a membrane of esterified C12-C18 fatty acids. In the mammalian intestine, exposure to C12-C18 fatty acids results in conversion of the pro-micelle to a stable micelle that effectively delivers the pharmaceutically active agent to the systemic circulation. The present invention further provides methods of making and using such compositions.

  • Publication number: 20030044727
Abstract: Provided is a method for forming barrier ribs of a plasma display panel (PDP), in which the rear substrate is protected from camber and damage occurring in the pressing process, and the mold can be separated easily by manufacturing a soft mold using elastic silicon rubber and forming uniform barrier ribs in a press method using the soft mold. In addition, a method for manufacturing a transparent soft mold is suggested, and uniform barrier ribs are formed by pressing a photosensitive barrier rib paste with the transparent soft mold, exposing them to a particular light source to reduce contact surface between the mold and the paste and thus make the mold separated easily.

  • Publication number: 20030040245
Abstract: Provided is a plasma display panel (PDP) manufacturing technology, and more particularly, to a method for manufacturing an additive soft mold forming barrier ribs of a PDP and a method for forming barrier ribs of a PDP that can prevent camber and damage of a glass substrate, produce barrier ribs with uniform height, and make the soft mold separated easily. In this research, an additive soft mold is manufactured using an elastic rubber material, and barrier ribs of a PDP are formed by using the additive soft mold. In particular, the barrier rib paste can be filled by polishing the rear surface of the soft mold and forming an opening, using a squeezer instead of performing a pressing process. When a photopolymerizing photosensitive paste is used as a paste for forming barrier ribs, and it is exposed to UV light, the soft mold can be separated easily from the paste, because the polymer in the paste shrinks due to the polymerization reaction.

  • Patent number: 6190690
Abstract: A sustained/immediate acting ketoprofen patch. A moisture permeable backing, a moisture non-permeable primer, a moisture high-permeable drug layer containing ketoprofen and a skin adhesion layer controlling release of a drug solution are piled up. An ethyl acetate soluble acrylic/rubber adhesive is coated onto a silicon coated paper, dried and transfer coated onto the backing to form the primer. The drug layer is formed by coating a drug solution onto a silicon coated paper, drying and transfer coating onto the primer. The skin adhesion layer is formed by coating a mixture of a solution prepared by dissolving an emulsifier in ethyl acetate and acrylic adhesive, drying and transfer coating onto the drug layer. The ketoprofen patch has a drug release controlling function and a good adhesion strength. The drug transferring effect through the skin is good.
