  • Patent number: 7869433
Abstract: Provided is a home network connection management system using UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) and VLAN (Virtual LAN) multicast. The home network connection management system includes a UPnP-VLAN interfacing section for receiving requests of registration of VLAN and multicast addresses from a UPnP device in response to connection establishment commands from a connection manager, a VLAN managing section for registering the VLAN and multicast addresses in a VLAN mapping table according to connection establishment request from the UPnP device through the UPnP-VLAN interfacing section, the VLAN mapping table for matching and storing the VLAN and multicast addresses under the control of the VLAN managing section, and an Ethernet device driver for retrieving the VLAN and multicast addresses from the VLAN mapping table in response to TCP/IP data from an outside, forming the received TCP/IP data into VLAN frames, and transmitting the VLAN frames.

  • Patent number: 7751414
Abstract: A bridge for heterogeneous QoS networks is provided. The bridge comprises an UPnP QoS processing unit, a bridge function unit and at least two of network drive drivers. The UPnP QoS processing unit collects connection information connected through the networks and QoS requirement information thereof through an UPnP QoS structure. The bridge function unit establishes and releases connection by allocating resources based on the collected connection information and QoS requirement information, and performs a bridging operation according to connection information of a received frame. At least two of network device drivers are physically connected to the networks.

  • Publication number: 20100166879
Abstract: A cancellous bone graft substitute and a method of manufacturing the cancellous bone graft substitute are provided, and more particularly, a cancellous bone graft substitute and a method of manufacturing the cancellous bone graft substitute by which defatting, demineralizing, cleaning, and sterilizing processes are performed within a short time using a supersonic cabitation without damaging a surface and an inside of a bone tissue so as to further rapidly, effectively supply an allogeneic or xenogeneic bone graft substitute. Internal and external concentrations of Ca++ of the allogeneic or xenogeneic bone graft substitute are effectively removed so as to maintain physical properties of the allogenetic or xenogeneic bone graft substitute.

  • Patent number: 7068665
Abstract: Disclosed is an asynchronous transfer mode relating to a cell switching method, a cell format converter thereof, and a switching system thereof which are proper for switching an AAL2 ATM cell and an AAL5 ATM cell using an AAL2/AAL5 converter and an AAL5/AAL2 converter. Namely, AAL2 traffic may be switched at an AAL level using the AAL2/AAL5 and AAL5/AAL2 converters, so as to increase a system efficiency and provide a flexible interface between AAL2 and AAL5 protocol.

  • Publication number: 20020172202
Abstract: A communications management system uses a single timer to control the transmission of ATM cells along a plurality of virtual paths/virtual channels (VPs/VCs). The system includes first and second memories, a time counter that records when a data packet is received from a specific VP/VC, and a control unit that controls transmission of data in the received packet based on whether another packet from the same VP/VC was received within a predetermined time-out period. By using a single timer, the system and an associated method reduce hardware and operating constraints which limit performance of conventional ATM transmission systems. This translates into improved capacity in terms of the numbers of virtual paths and virtual channels the system is able to manage.
