  • Patent number: 10172541
Abstract: A motion recognition device includes a sensing unit and a processing unit. The sensing unit generates a sense signal in response to a body motion occurring at a specific position on a user's body, wherein the sense signal includes a first sense signal portion and a second sense signal portion different from the first sense signal portion, and the body motion belongs to a motion segment of a motion type. The processing unit processes the sense signal to generate a motion parameter signal structure including a fusion signal of the first and the second sense signal portions, and recognizes the specific position to determine an effective reference signal for recognition of the motion type based on the motion parameter signal structure.

  • Patent number: 9201515
Abstract: A system for interacting with a target in an operation area having a selection tool includes an operating device. The operating device senses a motion to make a decision about whether the motion has a specific motion, and confirms whether the selection tool is located upon the target according to a distance between the selection tool and the target when the decision is positive.

  • Publication number: 20130038529
Abstract: A control device for controlling a screen includes a processing unit. The screen has a geometric reference for an operation and a first pattern associated with the geometric reference. The control device is configured to sequentially have a plurality of reference directions and an operating direction, the plurality of reference directions defines a reference direction range corresponding to the geometric reference, and the operating direction and the reference direction range have a relationship therebetween. The processing unit generates a plurality of patterns associated with the first pattern in the plurality of reference directions, respectively, estimates the reference direction range according to the plurality of reference directions and the plurality of patterns, and controls the operation of the screen by estimating the relationship.

  • Publication number: 20130002549
Abstract: A control system for controlling an operation of a screen having a first geometric reference includes a marking device and a remote-control device. The marking device displays a first pattern associated with the first geometric reference on the screen. The remote-control device obtains a signal from the screen. The signal represents an image having a second geometric reference and a second pattern associated with the first pattern. The second pattern and the second geometric reference have a first geometric relationship therebetween. The remote-control device uses the first geometric relationship to transform the second pattern into a third pattern, and calibrates the first geometric reference according to the third pattern for controlling the operation of the screen.

  • Publication number: 20030028886
Abstract: A single subscriber multiple set top boxes linkage device has a real time video and audio compressor which provides a digitized payment signal, a subscriber management unit providing a subscriber pairing signal to a linkage control unit, which is responsible to the pairing, and a multiplexer. The set top boxes are classified as a master and at least two slaves. The master emits linkage control signals continuously to assure whether the pairing is correct. When the slave receives the linkage control signal, it is contrasted with the clock from the head end to assure a correct pairing. The mounting work is convenient without necessary to further add control signal wire or other dedicated accessories. Therefore, the cost is low. Moreover, a dynamic encryption is used in the present invention, which is highly reliable in safety and is very difficult to be decrypted.
