  • Publication number: 20220175995
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a hand sanitizing apparatus able to automatically prevent the inside of a vehicle from being contaminated by at least one of bacterium and virus by a typical pattern of behaviors of an occupant. A communicator performs pairing with a smart key. A first sensor system detects whether or not a portion of a hand of an occupant enters an inside of a door handle after the pairing. A second sensor system detects a contact position of the portion of the hand in response to the detection of the first sensor system. A controller determines a spray area onto which a sanitizer is to be sprayed in accordance with the contact position. A drive unit sprays the sanitizer onto the spray area determined by an instrument unit provided on the door handle.

  • Publication number: 20210039040
Abstract: Disclosed is a carbon dioxide absorbent and a carbon dioxide separation method using the same that greatly reduces energy consumption due to a small amount of latent heat required in regeneration of absorbents, enhances CO2 absorption rate, undergoes almost no thermal denaturation even at high temperatures while absorbing carbon dioxide, and results in a considerable reduction of the cost associated with absorption of carbon dioxide.

  • Publication number: 20180126326
Abstract: According to one embodiment of the present invention, an apparatus for carbon dioxide capture includes an absorption tower in which an absorbent absorbs carbon dioxide contained in exhaust gas to thereby form a saturated absorbent; a stripping tower in which the carbon dioxide is stripped from the saturated absorbent transferred from the absorption tower and the absorbent is regenerated; a first heat exchanger configured to preheat the saturated absorbent while the saturated absorbent is being transferred from the absorption tower to the stripping tower; and a second heat exchanger configured to secondarily preheat the primarily preheated saturated absorbent.

  • Patent number: 8983726
Abstract: A method for sensing a wind and controlling a vehicle using a parking assist system (PAS) including a plurality of ultrasonic sensors and output devices is provided. The method includes controlling, by a controller, a first ultrasonic sensor disposed at a front side of a vehicle to transmit an ultrasonic signal. Respective primary indirect signals received from the ultrasonic sensors at the front side other than the first ultrasonic sensor are received by the controller. A second ultrasonic sensor adjacent to the first ultrasonic sensor to transmit the ultrasonic signal is controlled by the controller. Respective primary indirect signals received from the ultrasonic sensors at the front side other than the second ultrasonic sensor are received by the controller. The direction of the wind is sensed by the controller through a comparison of relative sizes of waveforms of each primary indirect signal and each secondary indirect signal.

  • Patent number: 6975064
Abstract: This invention relates to a cathode ray tube having a funnel in the shape of a reverse curvature designed to improve the strength for the glass manufacturing process and test specification. In the present invention, a reverse radius is applied to the whole of the rear-side glass, which is the funnel, of the cathode ray tube. Therefore, the cathode ray tube has a high degree of strength for vacuum and a low weight, so that it can have a wide angle of the electric beam in accordance with the enlargement and the flattening plane of the cathode ray tube. The cathode ray tube that has the funnel in the shape of the reverse curvature comprises: a yoke on which a deflection coil is placed; and a body part that extends from the yoke toward an opening terminal attached to the panel.
