Abstract: A method of controlling, by using a mobile terminal, at least one Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) device is provided. The method includes searching for at least one BLE device, displaying a BLE device list, including the at least one searched for BLE device, on a display unit of the mobile terminal, receiving an input of selection of a BLE device from the BLE device list, receiving an input of user added information from a user regarding the selected BLE device, and mapping and storing property information and the user added information regarding the selected BLE device.

Abstract: An electronic device and method are disclosed, the electronic device including an output module, a communication module configured to allow communication with at least one of a first electronic device and an external electronic device, and at least one processor, which implements the method, including receiving exercise portion information from a first electronic device, receiving exercise amount information from a second electronic device, and determining exercise information including a respective amount of exercise for each exercise portion based on at least the received exercise portion information and the received exercise amount information, and controlling the output module to output the exercise information.

Abstract: A data traffic optimization method and apparatus is provided for guaranteeing data transmission service quality such that the plural masters transmit data within a time period according to the data amount optimized for the corresponding master. The method includes acquiring a control factor for controlling the data traffic, issuing a traffic control signal according to a determination whether to open or block data transfer of a master to a bus, and controlling the master to continue or stop transferring data according to the traffic control signal issued by the traffic optimizer.

Abstract: An apparatus and method capable of using a reconfigurable descriptor in a System on Chip (SoC) is provided. The apparatus includes: a Central Processing Unit (CPU) for receiving parameters, each of which defines a descriptor, from a user and for providing the parameters to a controller. The controller defines the descriptor by reading target data indicated by the received parameters.
