Abstract: An avocado slicer having a handle, a curved blade, and a plurality of internal cutting blades. The blade separates the meat of the avocado from the peel while the internal cutting blades simultaneously slice the meat into separate slices. In a preferred form, the avocado slicer includes an adapter with an integrally formed internal handle, all constructed from plastic. The adapter includes internal ribs and channels configured to receive and firmly retain the base of the blade. A santoprene outer handle is over-molded onto the internal handle to provide a non-slip grip.

Abstract: An egg yolk separator includes a strainer having a portion for retaining an egg yolk and apertures for straining egg white. A pair of arms extends in opposite directions from the strainer for resting on opposite sides of an opening of a vessel, locating the separator on the vessel. One of the arms is extendable and retractable in length such that overall length of the separator is adjustable to suit the width of the opening of the vessel.

Abstract: Apparatus for severing small food pieces from larger food pieces, includes a barrel having a delivery opening through which the larger food pieces can be delivered to the barrel, and a dispensing opening through which the small food pieces can be dispensed. A rotating cutter having a number of blades is fitted into the barrel. A crank handle is attached to the cutter for rotating the cutter and an anvil is fitted within the barrel and has a number of slots into which the blades enter to sever the larger food pieces into the smaller food pieces.

Each cutting mould comprises a generally flat cup-shaped body having a cutting rim and includes a stem connecting the body to the periphery in a spaced apart relationship therefrom and in a substantially radial direction with respect to the central axis, such that the bodies lie in an annular arrangement around the rotor, with their cutting rims facing outwards. Each stem has an outer end connected to the corresponding body and an inner end releasably connected to the periphery.

Abstract: A cookie dough dispenser in the form of a cookie gun includes a barrel having opposite first and second ends for containing cookie dough, a handgrip provided at the first end, an exit formed at the second end for dispensing cookie dough contained in the barrel, and a cookie dough dispensing mechanism. The dispensing mechanism includes a trigger at the handgrip and a piston slidable within and along the axis of the barrel to dispense cookie dough from the barrel through the exit. The barrel includes a metal outer cylinder and an inner plastic cylinder that is transparent or near-transparent, located co-axially within the outer cylinder, in contact with the outer cylinder. The outer cylinder includes a slot covered by an adjacent part of the inner cylinder as a lens, through which the piston is viewable.

The outer cylinder (210) is formed with a slot (212) that is closed by an adjacent integral part of the inner cylinder (220) acting as a lens (222), through which slot (212) and lens (222) the piston (410) is viewable.

Abstract: A corkscrew includes a body having first and second elongate handgrips connected together for gripping the neck of a wine bottle, a central helical screw between the handgrips to remove a cork from bottle, and a turning knob atop the body and co-axially supporting the screw. The first handgrip has at its upper end a downwardly-opening cavity. The second handgrip is pivotably connected at its upper end to the first handgrip by a connector inserted from below into the cavity. The connector incorporates a hinge pin that passes through the connector and the upper end of the second handgrip. The pin is confined by a peripheral wall of the cavity extending around the connector.
