  • Patent number: 9637018
Abstract: Disclosed is a road for charging electric vehicle. The road includes an electrified rail which includes an electrode plate for connecting an electric plate of the electric vehicle, an insulated cover covering on the plate electrode so as to prevent electric leakage and a neutral layer covering on the insulated cover for connecting a neutral electrode plate of the electric vehicle. The electrode plate includes a first electrode plate and a second electrode plate. The first electrode plate is disposed above the second electrode plate and between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate there is a gap so that the electric plate of the electric vehicle is able to be sandwiched between the first electrode plate and the second electrode plate while charging. According to the present invention, the road surface is provided with electrified rail, thus the electric vehicle can charge while driving.

  • Patent number: 4302903
Abstract: A stepping device supported on two legs capable of walking or stepping up and down steps. The device has a pair of legs rotatably mounted to and suspended vertically from spaced points on a link. A pendulum is rotatably mounted to the link and suspended vertically from a central axis on the link between the leg mounting points. Means is provided for swinging the pendulum from the vertical thereby increasing the lever arm from the center of gravity of the pendulum to the mounting point of the leg closest to the pendulum. As the pendulum approaches the horizontal, the moment about the mounting point in a direction opposite the direction of pendulum movement exceeds the counter moment about the mounting point. This causes the link to lift the trailing leg up and over the leading leg, thereby maintaining the balance of the device on the supporting leg and causing a stepping movement.

  • Patent number: 4072933
Abstract: A detecting device for detecting heat due to the presence of fire for example. The detecting device includes an open-ended chamber closed by a resilient diaphragm. The diaphragm engages the open end to permit respectively the passage of air via an annular passageway formed between an outer peripheral portion of the diaphragm and a circumferential rim of the open end which it engages for closing the chamber, upon pressure build-up in the chamber due to the external temperature variation. This pressure build-up causes corresponding expansion of the diaphragm to thereby actuate an electrical circuit provided with means for emitting an audible sound. Means are also provided in the detector to make it operative in response to the presence of moving objects.
