Abstract: An air conditioner includes a main body, a blower fan disposed in the main body, a discharge panel including a main outlet configured to discharge air discharged from the blower fan and a plurality of fine outlets provided near the main outlet, an opening and closing member configured to move in forward and backward directions and open and close the main outlet, and a lighting apparatus disposed on a back surface of the opening and closing member and configured to emit light to a back side thereof. Since an area illuminated by the lighting apparatus is changed according to a position of the opening and closing member, a user intuitively identifies an operational state of the air conditioner.

Abstract: An air conditioner and a control method thereof perform cooling through an outlet if room temperature or room humidity is high to reduce the room temperature or the room humidity, and closing the outlet to perform cooling at low velocity through an outlet hole if room temperature or room humidity reaches a predetermined value so that a user can little feel the wind velocity of cooling of the air conditioner, while maintaining indoor space at pleasant temperature or humidity. By performing cooling at low velocity through the outlet hole formed in the lower portion of the air conditioner, it is possible to cool the lower area of indoor space at pleasant temperature when a user is asleep.

The dehumidifier includes a main body including an inlet port and an outlet port, a heat exchanger which exchanges heat with air introduced through the inlet port and a water container which accommodates condensate and is separately coupled to the main body in a sliding manner. The water container includes a handle rotatably coupled to the water container.

Abstract: An air conditioning equipment includes a housing comprising a heat exchanger therein, a water container mounted to, and dismounted from a receiving portion of the housing and to collect a condensate generated by the heat exchanger, and a valve configured to selectively open and close a discharge port by being interfered with a portion of the water container according to the mounting and the dismounting of the water container to or from the receiving portion of the housing. The valve is inserted within the receiving portion of the housing through the discharge port in order to reduce a protruded length that is interfered by the portion of the water container.
