    Abstract: A golf club head including an insert is disclosed herein. In accordance with the presently disclosed technology, the golf club head may include a body. The body may include a face, a crown, a first sole portion, a leading edge, a second sole portion, a trailing edge, and a sole opening between the first sole portion and the second sole portion. The golf club head may include an insert to fit into the sole opening that includes a sole insert and a frontal sole insert. The sole insert may be detachably connected to the sole portion, and the frontal sole insert may be in contact with at least a faceward surface of the sole insert. The frontal sole insert may separate the sole insert from the face.

The weight assembly includes a weight at least partially disposed within the recessed channel and configured to be positioned in at least a first position on the curved path and at a second position on the curved path. The curved path is defined such that when the weight is moved from the first position to the second position, a first end of the weight is moved closer to the upper topline edge and closer to the striking face.
