  • Patent number: 9629473
Abstract: A leg assembly includes a first leg member and second leg member each having side-to-side width that is greater at the top end than the bottom end and a tapered outer surface. The second leg member has top-to-bottom length different than the top-to-bottom length of the first leg member. The leg members are adapted to connect individually or in combination to a support system such that at least three leg heights are selectably provided. The side-to-side width of the top end of the second leg member is approximately equal to the side-to-side width of the bottom end of the first leg member such that when the top end of the second leg members is connected to the bottom end of the first leg member, the combined leg members have a generally continuously tapered outer surface.

  • Publication number: 20160363449
Abstract: An example portable apparatus for logging propulsion data associated with a manual mobility assistance device is described herein. The portable apparatus can include an accelerometer configured to detect acceleration of the manual mobility assistance device, an angular position sensor configured to detect rotation of a wheel of the manual mobility assistance device, and a controller operably coupled to the accelerometer and the angular position sensor. The controller can include a processor and a memory operably coupled to the processor, the memory having computer executable instructions stored thereon, that when executed by the processor, cause the processor to receive acceleration data detected by the accelerometer and angular position data detected by the angular position sensor, and store the acceleration data and the angular position data in the memory. The accelerometer, the angular position sensor, and the controller can be configured to removably couple to the manual mobility assistance device.

  • Patent number: 9414583
Abstract: A waterfowl decoy continuous motion system is provided. A self-propelled floating decoy is tethered to a submerged line supported below the surface of a body of water by stakes driven into the water bottom. The decoy has a skeg attached to the bottom of the decoy. The skeg is positioned at an angle offset from a longitudinal axis extending along the length of the body of the decoy. The tether is slidably attached to the submerged line, and a swivel located on the tether allows the decoy to rotate freely. The decoy is guided by the line as it moves across the surface of the water. When the tether reaches a stopper near each end of the line, the decoy makes a 180-degree turn in an arcing path and then travels in the opposite direction. The decoy repeats this process in a continuous loop.

  • Patent number: 9402387
Abstract: A waterfowl decoy motion system comprises a self-propelled floating decoy tethered to a submerged line supported below the surface of a body of water by stakes driven into the water bottom. A thruster is attached to the bottom of the decoy such that the direction of propulsion is offset from a longitudinal axis extending along the length of the decoy by an angle of at least one degree. The tether is slidably attached to the submerged line, and a swivel located on the tether allows the decoy to rotate freely. The decoy is guided by the line as it moves across the surface of the water. When the tether reaches a stopper near each end of the line, the offset propulsion angle causes the decoy to turn in an arcing path, turn around, and travel in the opposite direction. The decoy repeats this process in a continuous loop.
