The method includes transmitting, by the wildlife capture unit, to a remote communications device, a notification of the capture of the wild animal. The method includes receiving, by the wildlife capture unit, from the remote communications device, an instruction to modify the environmental condition of the wildlife containment unit. The method includes automatically providing, by the wildlife capture unit, to the wild animal, access to a feeding station within the wildlife containment unit, responsive to the received instruction.
