Abstract: A method executes a two-player position competitive game of GO with an improved rate of play and reduction in required skill by players by: a) providing a game board with a grid having between 4×4 and 6×6 squares for alternative placement of visually different stones in squares to score points; b) placing stones for each of the two players; c) each player allotted a specific number of additional stones for placement on the game board, with insufficient numbers of stone to fill the game board; d) each player exhausting respective allotted stones; e) after the two players have exhausted all respective allotted stones, determining a total absolute number value of how many stones have been captured by each player and how many spaces are controlled by each player's stones, with each player's total being compared either to the other player's total or against a paytable.

Abstract: A method of executing a side bet wagering event during multiple rounds of play in a dice game selected from craps or Sic Bo games in which: a) a player places a side bet wager before a round of play in the dice game; b) the side bet wager indicating a specific player making the wager with a marker indicating a position within the multiple rounds of play in the dice game; c) the side bet wager being resolved by outcomes in 2-7 casts of dice during the multiple rounds of play in the dice game, at least one winning outcome paid against a paytable for achieving a cumulative total of exactly twenty-one with two dice in craps or a higher number than twenty-one (such as 30-36) with three dice in Sic Bo from the outcomes in from 2-7 casts during the multiple rounds of play in the dice game.

Abstract: A method, system, and device are directed to a card game. In an optional embodiment, secondary identifiers are associated with playing cards. The secondary identifiers are selected to provide only partial information about a primary characteristic, such as value, suit, color, or the like, about the playing card. Optionally, the secondary identifiers are concealed from the player and are only perceivable through the use of a reader and display. A game is conducted according to its base game rules using the playing cards with secondary identifiers.

Abstract: An apparatus, such as for use by a dealer in a game utilizing game pieces, such as playing cards or tiles, is disclosed. The dealer may deal a plurality of the game pieces to the dealer as well as to one or more other players. The apparatus may assist the dealer with setting the dealer's own dealt game pieces. The apparatus may include a camera for scanning the dealer's dealt game pieces. The apparatus may further include a central processor coupled to the camera for determining the relative rank of each of the dealer's game pieces, and for determining an optimal sub-grouping of the dealer's game pieces, and an indicator for identifying which of the dealer's game pieces are associated with each of the sub-groups.

Abstract: A method, system and device for displaying a game outcome without altering the game outcome disclosed. A gaming device conducts a wagering game. If game outcome is a Winning game outcome, the game outcome is displayed. If the game outcome fails to partially match a winning game outcome, the game outcome is likewise displayed. If the game outcome partially matches a winning game outcome, the game outcome is reordered prior to display by displaying the subset of the game outcome that matches a partial winning game outcome, then displaying the remainder of the game outcome separated from the partial winning outcome.
