    Abstract: This invention, the Self-Directed Career Management System, is a web application enabling job seekers in one or more occupational categories to connect to a server via the internet from a client computer with a web browser. Once connected, they can create a user account permitting them to input, view, edit and delete all data and documents required by any employer in making hiring decisions. Once the data is entered, the user can then direct the system to send documents such as resumes and applications in a variety of formats, such as PDF, Microsoft Word, and XML to specified recipients.
