    Abstract: Video content can be amplified to enhance the experiences of content consumers. In that regard, the presentation of the video content need not be treated as a standalone experience, but rather can be integrated with other rich and related content to provide a more immersive and engaging experience. Video content can be presented in a first portion of the display, and references to related content can be presented in a second portion of the display. The references can be triggered at defined times of the presentation of the video content. The related content can be displayed alongside the video content upon selection of an associated reference or in some cases automatically at the defined time.
