  • Patent number: 10821938
Abstract: A method of operation of a compute system includes: receiving a vehicle-related sensor reading in a real-time; determining in the real-time a theft level indicator for a vehicle based on the vehicle-related sensor reading; generating a theft alert based on the theft level indicator being a priority event; analyzing the vehicle-related sensor reading with a theft risk model to generate the theft alert when the theft level indicator is a non-priority event; and communicating the theft alert for displaying on a device.

  • Patent number: 8520859
Abstract: A noise injection system adds comfort noise to an audio signal. The system includes a background noise estimator that determines a spectral content of a background noise associated with the audio signal. A comfort noise generator generates a comfort noise signal having a random phase. A gain circuit adjusts the comfort noise signal based on the spectral content of the background noise. A combining circuit combines a gain-adjusted comfort noise signal and the audio signal to generate an output signal.

Date of Patent: August 27, 2013
    Assignee: QNX Software Systems Limited

  • Publication number: 20090150144
Abstract: A voice detector improves voice output quality. The voice detector may be incorporated into a cellphone, hands-free car phone, or any other device that provides voice output. The voice detector provides excellent voice output quality even when signal dropouts and other significant signal artifacts are present in the received signal. Not only does the high quality voice output improve the listening experience, it also benefits downstream processing systems that further process the voice signal.

  • Publication number: 20060106881
Abstract: A system and method is disclosed for synchronizing data between two or more devices connected to each other by a network. The devices execute instances of substantially identical applications storing data. A synchronization module executes on each of the devices. The synchronization module may monitor access to the databases and maintain a synchronization database of the changes to the databases. The synchronization databases of the devices are then synchronized. Conflicting changes to the database are resolved according to default protocols and user configured protocols. Conflict resolution protocols may be transmitted between devices prior to resolving conflicts.
