  • Publication number: 20240123735
Abstract: Reprocessing of a replaceable supply component may include receiving from an encoding device and using an interface communicatively coupled to the encoding device, a request blob to reprocess a replaceable supply component. The method may include in response to cryptographically verifying the request blob, extracting from the request blob, a supply identifier and raw supply data. The method further includes using the supply identifier and raw supply data, generating a reprocess structure to append or amend original manufacturing data for the replaceable supply component, and providing a response blob to the encoding device, to designate the replaceable supply component as a reprocessed supply component.

  • Patent number: 11396183
Abstract: Printers and associated printer maintenance methods and apparatus are disclosed. An example printer includes a nozzle to dispense fluid; a wiper to wipe the nozzle during a maintenance event; and a controller to cause the nozzle to dispense fluid during the maintenance event while the wiping material engages or is immediately adjacent the nozzle to deter a substance from being present within the nozzle.

  • Publication number: 20210362427
Abstract: In an example, a method includes receiving, at least one processor, object model data describing at least part of a three-dimensional object to be generated using additive manufacturing. A model type may be determined from the object model data by at least one processor. When the model type is a mesh model, a volumetric model describing at least part of the three-dimensional object in terms of a plurality of sub-volumes may be determined by at least one processor. When the model type is a volumetric model, the sub-volumes which represent a surface of the three-dimensional object may be determined by at least one processor.

  • Patent number: 10500848
Abstract: A printer includes a printhead assembly, a service station assembly, and a controller. The printhead assembly includes nozzles to eject fluid drops. The nozzles are divided into a least two groups with each group assigned a burst drop count, a post-burst delay, and a burst order. The service station assembly is to receive fluid ejected from the nozzles during spits. The controller is to control a spit of the printhead assembly by ejecting fluid from the nozzles of each group based on the burst drop count, the post-burst delay, and the burst order of each group until a target drop count for the spit is reached.
