  • Publication number: 20260115870
Abstract: A powered ratchet tool includes a housing having a head portion, a motor, a drive assembly including an output configured to be driven by the motor, a yoke supported within the head portion and coupled to the output of the drive assembly such that the yoke is configured to reciprocate about an axis in response to rotation of the output, and a drive supported by the yoke. The drive includes a first plurality of herringbone teeth on an outer periphery of the drive. A pawl includes a second plurality of herringbone teeth configured to engage the first plurality of herringbone teeth to rotate the drive together with the yoke in a first direction about the axis and to slide over the first plurality of herringbone teeth such that the yoke is rotatable relative to the drive in a second direction about the axis.

  • Publication number: 20250269501
Abstract: A powered ratchet tool including a primary housing, a secondary housing coupled to the primary housing, and a motor supported within the secondary housing. The motor has an output shaft rotatable about a first axis. The powered ratchet tool further includes a ratchet mechanism supported by the secondary housing. The ratchet mechanism is operably coupled to the output shaft of the motor to be driven by the motor. Moreover, the powered ratchet tool includes an insert disposed within the secondary housing and configured to guide a plurality of wires through the secondary housing, and an output drive rotatably supported by the secondary housing. The output drive is operably coupled to the ratchet mechanism. The output drive is configured to be rotated about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis and to receive a tool element.

  • Publication number: 20250091191
Abstract: A power tool includes a housing enclosing a motor and a sensor. The sensor is configured to control operation of the motor. The power tool includes an output device driven by the motor, a mount coupled to the sensor, and an actuator removably coupled to the mount. The actuator is slidable along the mount to couple the actuator to the mount.

  • Publication number: 20250091180
Abstract: A powered ratchet tool includes a handle housing, a motor disposed within the handle housing, the motor including a motor shaft rotatable about a first axis, a head extending from the handle housing, a ratchet mechanism supported by the head and including a crankshaft and a yoke coupled to the crankshaft such that the yoke is pivotable in a reciprocating manner in response to rotation of the crankshaft, an output drive coupled to the yoke such that the output drive is configured to rotate about a second axis perpendicular to the first axis in response to reciprocation of the yoke, and a coupling assembly coupled to the motor shaft and to the crankshaft such that the motor shaft and the crankshaft are coupled together for co-rotation about the first axis.

  • Publication number: 20240375252
Abstract: A power tool includes an ejection mechanism configured to eject an end of a fastener. The ejection mechanism includes an ejection rod that is actuated by a motor of a power tool to move from a first position to a second position to eject the end of the fastener. Following ejection of the end of the fastener, the ejection rod is returned to the first position by a return spring.

  • Publication number: 20240357970
Abstract: Outdoor tools such as a rotary cutter, and blades for a rotary cutter, are provided. A blade includes a body having a first side and a second side both extending from a first end to a second end of the body, a first edge and a second edge extending along a length of the body between the first side and the second side from the first end to the second end. The body includes a first arm, a second arm, and a planar portion between the first arm and the second arm. The blade is configured to rotate about a rotational axis that extends through the planar portion. The body further includes a hole surrounding the rotational axis. Each of the first arm and the second arm includes at least one bend. The body is symmetrical about at least one axis of symmetry.
