A latch mechanism is included, adapted to secure the opposed stiffener edge to the roof member. The opposed stiffener edge includes a structural load path-supporting member. The latch mechanism comprises at least one spring-loaded pin, clip, bolt, or rotary latch and a cooperating latch receiver or striker, variously carried by the opposed stiffener edge and the roof member.
