Abstract: A composite manual and automated fetal strip analysis system is disclosed. A computer is configured to receive at least one of a signal indicative of said physiological parameter of a fetus and a signal indicative of uterine activity and automatically detect a pre-determined pattern. A user interface allows a user to manually alter results of the automatic detection.

Abstract: A method of zero-knowledge document comparison between two parties. Each party performs: exchanging a set of random data and a shared hash function, applying the hash function to concatenations of the document and the sets of random data, and comparing the hashes.

Abstract: A markup element of a markup language document references a resource with a resource indicator. A method for verifying the content of the resource includes extracting a characteristic of the content from the markup element, retrieving a resource according to the resource indicator, and comparing a characteristic of the content of the retrieved resource to the extracted characteristic. A computer readable program for authoring a markup language document when executed on a computer causes the computer to include in a markup element of the markup language document a characteristic of the content of a resource that is referenced by the markup element with a resource indicator.

Abstract: There is disclosed a method and system for determining packaging preference of a customer by identifying the customer using a customer identifier, and retrieving available packaging preference information using the customer identifier. In an embodiment, the customer's packaging preference information for a particular identified item is retrieved and graphically communicated. In another embodiment, customer packaging preference information based on a quantity of items is retrieved and graphically communicated. Customer packaging preference information based on both the identified items and the quantity of items may also be retrieved and graphically communicated.

Abstract: A method and computer program product for verifying on-screen appearance of a document. A selected window is provided to an application. An image of the document is rendered at the selected window resolution on a screen of a reference display monitor of a reference computing platform on which the application is executed to perform the rendering. The rendered image emulates a rendered on-screen appearance of the image at the selected window resolution on a screen of another display monitor of another computing platform. The screen of the another display monitor has a smaller window size than the screen of the reference display monitor. The reference display monitor's maximum window resolution exceeds the selected window resolution. It is determined whether the emulated image meets acceptance criteria. For other window resolutions, the method repeats: providing an input signal, rendering the image of the document, and determining if the acceptance criteria are satisfied.
