    Abstract: Devices, systems and kits are described which provide a method for trapping crustaceans in an aquatic environment. The systems include receptacles for holding bait, with a lid to secure a soluble layer onto the receptacle. The soluble layer dissolves over time to allow the scent of the bait to be released in the aquatic environment to attract the target crustaceans.
