  • Publication number: 20240109759
Abstract: A lift assembly including a lifting structure, a lifting arm, a yoke structure fixed to the lifting structure, a pin pivotally coupling the lifting arm with the yoke structure, and an integrated anti-rotational assembly associated with both the yoke structure and the pin. The lifting structure can actuate relative to the ground between a lowered position and a raised position. The lifting arm is configured to actuate with the lifting structure between the lowered position and the raised position. The integrated anti-rotational assembly can inhibit rotation of the pin relative to the yoke structure about the longitudinal axis of the pin.

  • Patent number: 11938045
Abstract: Breathable residual-limb system that admits air and allows sweat to evaporate from the surface of the residual limb. In an embodiment, the system comprises a liner sock to be worn on the residual limb, and comprising air-permeable textile forming a substantially cylindrical portion that is closed on a distal end and open on a proximal end and comprising an internal surface and an external surface. The liner sock further comprises a friction-interface material that covers only a portion of the internal surface of the air-permeable textile, such that, when worn on the residual limb, the friction-interface material contacts a surface of the residual limb, and an uncovered portion of the air-permeable textile which the friction-interface material does not cover allows air to pass between an external environment of the liner sock and the surface of the residual limb.

  • Publication number: 20240065900
Abstract: Three-dimensional laminates and methods for making the same are provided. The three-dimensional laminates may be apertured and may have welds between various substrates. The three-dimensional laminates may be used in absorbent articles, such as diapers and pants, for example, as topsheets, as topsheets and acquisition layers, or as outer cover materials, for example. The three-dimensional laminates may be produced on an absorbent article manufacturing line.

  • Publication number: 20240041038
Abstract: New insecticidal combinations, compositions, and methods of using the same are provided. The present invention is directed to combinations of Cysteine Rich Insecticidal Peptides (CRIPS), and Insecticidal Agents (IAs). The present invention also describes the use of said combinations and compositions for the control of insects. Here, we describe the following: genes encoding CRIPs; compositions and combinations comprising CRIPs and IAs; and methods using the same that are useful for the control of pests.

  • Publication number: 20240018198
Abstract: New insecticidal peptides, polypeptides, proteins, and nucleotides; their expression in culture and plants; methods of producing the peptides, polypeptides, proteins, and nucleotides; new processes; new production techniques; new formulations; and new organisms, are disclosed. The present disclosure is also related to a novel type of peptide named Dc1a-Variant Polypeptides (DVPs) that are a non-naturally occurring, modified-form of the peptide, Mu-diguetoxin-Dc1a, isolated from the American Desert Spider (Diguetia canities). Here we describe: genes encoding DVPs; various formulations and combinations of both genes and peptides; and methods for using the same that are useful for the control of insects. Further, the present invention relates to novel, recombinant cysteine rich proteins (CRPs) with a cystine knot (CK) architecture, created by removing one or more disulfide bonds from a polypeptide having four or more disulfide bonds.

  • Publication number: 20230337684
Abstract: New insecticidal proteins, nucleotides, peptides, and their expression in plants. Methods of producing new nucleotides and new peptides, new processes, new production techniques, new formulations, and new organisms. The present disclosure is also related to and describes novel peptides called TVPs, which are non-natural peptide variations based upon the U1-agatoxin-Ta1b toxin derived from the Hobo spider. Here, we describe: genes encoding TVPs; formulations and combinations comprising TVP genes and/or peptides; and methods using the same that are useful for the control of pests.

  • Patent number: 8631523
Abstract: The back-scratching and washing device for use in a shower includes a base that attaches to a smooth surface for use within a shower and features a plurality of interchangeable parts that attach to the base to perform a plurality of uniquely different skin engaging services. The interchangeable parts comprise rubber nodules, Loofahs, spring-loaded scrubbers, and bristled nodules. All of the interchangeable parts attach to the base via a spring pin located on a back of said part that engages one of an array of holes located on a front of said base. The device can be used to engage any part of a body, but is chiefly used for the back and hard to reach areas of said body. An array of suction cups located on a back of the base ensure secure attachment of the device to a smooth surface during engagement by an end user.
