  • Patent number: 12630780
Abstract: Lubricant compositions comprising an oil of lubricating viscosity and a viscosity modifier that is a hydrocarbon polymer having a number average molecular weight (Mn) of less than 10,000 Daltons (Da). The viscosity modifier is present at greater than 2 wt %, based on a total weight of the lubricant composition. Exemplary hydrocarbon polymers include, but are not limited to, olefin polymers, such as polyisobutylene polybutene, ethylene ?-olefin copolymers, or combinations thereof.

    Assignee: The Lubrizol Corporation
Inventors: David M. Pallister, Eric Schweim, Scott Miller, Kyle Stevens, Arthur L. Backman
  • Publication number: 20260015096
Abstract: A structure for transferring a lateral load of an engine pylon to an aircraft wing includes a first component having a generally longitudinally oriented first flange extending outward from a first base portion that is attachable to or integrated with the wing, a second component having one or more raised portions extending outward from a second base portion that is attachable to or integrated with the engine pylon, and a bushing with a base plate and one or two arms. The bushing may be disposed in contact with a wall portion with part of the first flange disposed within the bushing, or in contact with a raised portion with part of the bushing disposed between the first flange and a second flange, such that the engine pylon is substantially restrained against lateral movement with respect to the wing.

  • Patent number: 12377993
Abstract: An engine attachment system includes a strut box. The strut box includes a longitudinal axis, a forward portion that extends along the longitudinal axis, and an aft portion that extends from the forward portion along the longitudinal axis. The engine attachment system includes a forward attachment apparatus that is coupled to the forward portion of the strut box and that is coupleable to a forward spar of the wing. The engine attachment system includes an aft attachment apparatus that is coupled to the aft portion of the strut box and that is coupleable to an aft spar of the wing. When the strut box is coupled to the wing by the forward attachment apparatus and the aft attachment apparatus, the aft portion of the strut box is positioned under the wing. The strut box is coupleable to an engine.
