The processing nodes each include one or more processors configured to: receive identification information from one or more sellers associated with intellectual property (IP), receive identification information associated with the one or more sellers, verify the identification information associated with the IP and the identification information associated with the one or more sellers by referencing an intellectual property database, and convert the IP into a Smart IP Contract, wherein the Smart IP Contract performs one or more functions to carry out a sale of the IP on the CBN.
