  • Publication number: 20240426071
Abstract: An apparatus for installing two spaced piles into the ground enables rapid and precise positioning of the piles. The apparatus comprises: a first projection for inserting into a first pile, a second projection for inserting into a second pile, a first pile drive associated with the first projection, and a second pile drive associated with the second projection, wherein the first projection is movable along a first path, the second projection is movable along a second path, and the first pile drive and the second pile drive are movable between a first orientation in which the first and second projections extend generally vertically and a second orientation in which the first and second projections extend generally horizontally.

  • Patent number: 11459720
Abstract: A screw pile (10) comprises a hollow elongate shaft (12), a lower portion (14) rotatably mounted to the hollow elongate shaft (12), the lower portion (14) carrying a screw or one or more blades or plates (16, 18) for screwing of the screw pile into the ground. The screw pile may have a rotatable hub located at the lower end of the shaft, a rotatable hub carrying the screw or blades (16, 18). A drive tool can engage with the rotatable hub to rotate the hub and thereby rotate the blades to screw the pile into the ground.

  • Publication number: 20200283980
Abstract: A support member comprises abeam (12) having flanges (16, 18) connected to a central web (14). A first set of wings (20, 22) and a second set of wings (30, 32) are connected to the flange (16). A plurality of angled plates (80, 82, 84, 86) are attached to the flanges (16, 18) of the beam (12). to form receptacles defined between the plates, the web (14) and the flanges, (16, 18) of the beam (12). The receptacle has a relatively large upper opening. The plate (80) has a lower edge that is spaced away from the web (14) so that a bottom opening in the form of a slot between the lower edge of the plate (80) and the web (14) is formed. Alternatively, the lower edge of the plate (80) may come into contact with the web (14) (and be welded thereto), and the receptacle thus formed may have a lower opening formed by having a hole opening in the plate (80) at a lower region of the plate (80).
