Abstract: A structure may include an inlet hole through which a coolant fluid flows into the structure, an outlet hole through which the coolant fluid flows out from the structure, a plurality of inlet subchannels coupled between the inlet hole and a microchannel structure, and a plurality of outlet subchannels coupled between the microchannel structure and the outlet hole. Each of the inlet subchannels includes a first portion expanding as the coolant fluid flows therethrough, and each of the outlet subchannels includes a second portion contracting as the coolant fluid flows therethrough.

Abstract: A cooling apparatus may include a microchannel structure including a plurality of microchannels and a manifold disposed over the plurality of microchannels. The microchannel structure may be directly bonded to a chip and dissipate heat generated in the chip during an operation of the chip.
