    Abstract: A speaker device prevents “squeaking” based on the difference between propagation speed of a vibration propagated through a center cap and propagation speed of a vibration propagated through a diaphragm. The speaker device includes a vibrating body (VB), a driving part (magnetic circuit) driving the VB, and a frame supporting the VB and the driving part (magnetic circuit). The VB includes a voice coil (VC), a VC supporting part supporting the VC, a diaphragm group, and a driving member whose inner circumference portion is supported by the VC supporting part and which transmits VC vibration to the diaphragm group. The driving member includes a supporting part supporting the diaphragm group. A first connecting part is provided between the diaphragm group and the driving member and on the inner side with respect to the supporting part. The diaphragm group is connected to the driving member via the first connecting part.

    Abstract: A loudspeaker includes a diaphragm and an edge having an inner periphery end portion thereof connected with an outer periphery of the diaphragm, in which an outer end portion of the edge is attached to a speaker frame. The diaphragm has a bent portion in the vicinity of a border at the inner periphery side of a connecting portion connecting the diaphragm with the edge. A reinforcing portion is formed on the bent portion in order to reinforce the bent portion. It is, therefore, possible to disperse or reduce various forces applied to the bent portion, and to prevent strength deterioration or damage of the diaphragm even when sound signals having large amplitude are applied to the loudspeaker. As a result, it is also possible to prevent deterioration of acoustic characteristics.

    Abstract: It is an object of the present invention to improve a speaker edge member manufacturing method in which a substrate is introduced into an edge member molding material by virtue of insertion molding, to prevent a trouble such as a crack on a parting line or the like, thus shortening a manufacturing time and thus reducing a manufacturing cost. The method comprises the steps of: attaching the substrate into the edge member molding die; introducing the edge member formation material into the edge member molding die before or after attaching the substrate into the edge member molding die; heating/pressurizing the substrate and the edge member formation material in the edge member molding die so as to obtain a molded edge member. At this time, the outer edge portion of the substrate is located in a position separated a predetermined distance from the dividing line of the die.

    Abstract: A voice coil bobbin coupled to a damper is allowed to vibrate in its axis direction within a magnetic circuit including a magnet and a plate supported by a yoke. A range extending between a neutral position of an end of the voice coil bobbin and a portion of the yoke opposing the end of the voice coil bobbin is longer than a range extending between the plate and a neutral position of a portion where the voice coil bobbin is coupled to the damper. A damper ring is fitted around the voice coil bobbin in a position closer to the plate within the portion where the voice coil bobbin is coupled to the damper. A rear face of the damper ring opposing the plate is shaped in face-geometry parallel to a face of the plate opposing the damper ring.

    Abstract: A speaker device includes a vibration system having a voice coil bobbin, a diaphragm and a cap, and a magnetic circuit system. The diaphragm has a first fixing portion, a main cone portion, a second fixing portion, a drive cone portion and an opening. The first fixing portion is provided at the outer peripheral edge portion of the diaphragm to be fixed to an edge. The main cone portion formed into a parabolic shape is provided between the first fixing portion and the second fixing portion, i.e., in the vicinity of an outer peripheral portion of the drive cone portion. The second fixing portion is provided on a substantial border portion between the main cone portion and the drive cone portion, and the outer peripheral edge portion of the cap is mounted thereon. The drive cone portion formed into a curve or straight shape is provided between the second fixing portion and the opening. An inner peripheral edge portion of the drive cone portion is mounted onto an outer peripheral wall of the voice coil bobbin.
