  • Patent number: 9269124
Abstract: A distorted image (S) is acquired through a photographing operation using a wide-angle lens or an omnidirectional mirror. A cutting reference point (P) for cutting a partial cut region from the distorted image is set. The cut region is set according to the cutting reference point. An eye vector (n) corresponding to the cutting reference point is set with a photographing viewpoint of the distorted image as a base point. The cut region is shifted by a predetermined distance from the cutting reference point. The shifted cut region is transformed through image transformation to transform the distorted image into a planar regular image (T?) according to the eye vector. The shifted cut region (E?) is transformed.

  • Patent number: 8515130
Abstract: To provide a conference system, a monitoring system, an image processing apparatus, an image processing method and A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium that stores a computer-image processing program capable of accurately and effectively recognizing an object based on a fisheye-distorted image photographed at a wide angle. When an instruction of selecting an arbitrary point Ci(ui, vi) of a 2D-viewable planar regular image generated based on a fisheye-distorted image S photographed by a fisheye lens is received, point Si(xi, yi) on the fisheye-distorted image S is calculated as a coordinate corresponding to Ci(ui, vi), and a pixel information group configuring the planar regular image is newly generated based on a pixel information group configuring the fisheye-distorted image S.

  • Patent number: 8379976
Abstract: An image processing apparatus converts an input data indicative of a fish-eye image into an output data indicative of a plane image. The apparatus includes an input data conversion unit that converts the fish-eye image into the input data including an input data pixel information and an input data color information; a fish-eye image corrected address generating unit that generates, based on the input data pixel information, an output data pixel information; an input data color information acquiring unit that acquires the input data color information based on a pattern of a color filter array; an output data color information calculating unit that calculates, based on the input data color information, an output data color information; an output data generating unit that generates the output data including the output data pixel information and the output data color information; and a storage unit that stores the input and output data.

  • Patent number: 6058339
Abstract: When material transport was automated on a building construction site, in a conventional travel tape guide system, it was necessary to replace the tape when it became soiled or when changes were made to a travel route. As a result, the usage efficiency of a material transport vehicle could not be improved on the site due to the fact that changes are made to work floors as demanded by construction schedules. According to this invention, there is provided a sign which is easy to move and which is installed at a turning point or an unloading point on a work floor transport route. An image of the sign is obtained by an imaging device on an autonomous guided vehicle and operating instructions are recognized by image processing. This makes it possible to automate the setting of routes and the control of the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 5881504
Abstract: A temporary frame system includes four masts arranged outside of a building to be constructed. The frame system includes a climbing mechanism mounted on each mast for upward and downward movement thereon, a canopy frame fixed at four corners by respective climbing mechanisms and horizontally covering the entire upper surface of the building, a plurality of overhead traveling cranes arranged on the lower surface of the canopy frame, and a jib crane movable along a guide rail provided on an upper surface of the canopy frame. The overhead traveling crane includes a main rail positioned on a lower surface of the canopy frame and subsidiary rails arranged on both sides of the main rail in parallel thereto. A transporting girder is movably supported on the main rail and subsidiary girders are movably supported on the subsidiary rails. A plurality of hoists are provided on the overhead traveling crane. The transporting girder is a dual type which has two, first and second girders.
