  • Patent number: 11657709
Abstract: A safety confirmation support system includes: a moving object detector which detects a moving object in each of detection regions set around the vehicle; display units each associated with a different one of the detection regions; a line-of-sight detector which detects a line of sight of the driver; and a display controller which controls the display units based on detection results from the moving object detector and the line-of-sight detector. When the moving object is detected in a specified detection region, the display controller (i) displays moving object information on a specified display unit associated with the specified detection region when the line of sight is away from the specified detection region, and (ii) stops display of the moving object information on the specified display unit when the line of sight is towards the specified detection region while the moving object information is displayed on the specified display unit.

  • Publication number: 20190303102
Abstract: An output value generator circuit possesses an output unit (reciprocal output unit) configured to generate a mantissa and a characteristic of an output value in floating-point representation, and individually output the mantissa and the characteristic. The output value is obtained by conversion of an input value.

  • Patent number: 9292286
Abstract: Based on an input index sequence (702) composed of four indices (each having a bit width of 8 bits), a shift-copier generates an index sequence (902) by shifting each index leftward by 1 bit and making two copies of each index, and outputs the generated index sequence (902). An adder generates a shuffle pattern (703) by adding 1, 0, 1, 0, 1, 0, 1 and 0 to the indices in the index sequence (902) from left to right, and outputs the generated shuffle pattern (703).

  • Patent number: 8850171
Abstract: When a temporary data storage unit 104 stores a value of “3” and an iteration number of “3”, and a data updating management unit 103 receives a value of “2” in combination with an iteration number of “2”, a data updating management unit 103 determines not to overwrite information in the temporary data storage unit 104 with the received information by comparing the relative sizes of the iteration numbers. Subsequently, upon receiving information from the multithreaded execution unit 102 indicating that parallel execution is complete, the data updating management unit 103 copies the value of “3”, stored by the temporary data storage unit 104, into the final data storage unit 105.

  • Publication number: 20100260258
Abstract: An image coding device (301) in an aspect of the present invention includes: a quantization unit (304) which quantizes an orthogonal transform coefficient set (217) obtained by orthogonally transforming image data (310), so as to generate a quantized coefficient set (110) that corresponds to one coded block unit; a coefficient sequence extraction unit (101) which extracts a first coefficient sequence (112) that is a part of the quantized coefficient set (110); a coefficient non-zeroing unit (102) which converts at least one of zero coefficients included in the first coefficient sequence (112) into a nonzero coefficient, so as to generate a second coefficient sequence (113) including all coefficients resulting from the conversion; a coefficient sequence selection unit (106) which selects one of the first coefficient sequence (112) and the second coefficient sequence (113), the selected one having a smaller amount of codes when coded; and a variable-length coding unit (306) which performs variable-length coding
