  • Publication number: 20240008314
Abstract: A display device includes: a substrate including a pixel area and a non-pixel area surrounding the pixel area, first, second and third light emitting elements on the substrate, and a pixel defining layer on the substrate. The pixel area includes first, second and third sub-pixel areas. The first light emitting element includes a first pixel electrode disposed in the first sub-pixel area. The second light emitting element includes a second pixel electrode disposed in the second sub-pixel area. The third light emitting element includes a third pixel electrode disposed in the third sub-pixel area. A peripheral opening overlapping the non-pixel area is defined in the pixel defining layer to continuously extend along between the first, second, and third sub-pixel areas. The pixel defining layer covers edges of each of the first, second, and third pixel electrodes on the substrate and continuously extends along at least two adjacent sub-pixel areas.
