Abstract: A method notifies of an incoming call or message in a mobile communication terminal, and using a short range wireless communication device. The mobile communication terminal generates a message having the information exchange format by encoding a message including incoming notifying information related to the incoming call or message to have an information exchange format and by adding an incoming notifying parameter set to be in a notification supporting state, and transmits the message to a short range wireless communication device set as an incoming notifying device through the short range wireless communication. The short range wireless communication device receives a message having an information exchange format, decodes the message, and displays information decoded from the message through the display by an incoming notifying popup, when an incoming notifying parameter is set to be in a notification supporting state.

Abstract: A wireless audio delivery system and method are disclosed for distributing an audio signal to a plurality of headsets through short range wireless communication channels. An audio delivery method for a short range wireless communication network including a master device and a plurality of slave devices includes selecting, at the master device, one of the slave devices as a primary slave device, assigning a master control to the primary slave device, establishing a communication channel between the master and the slave devices and delivering audio data to the slave devices through the communication channel.

Abstract: Provided is a method and apparatus for adaptively using vNote in a portable terminal. The method includes determining whether a Bluetooth messenger is in operation upon reception of a vNote message, preventing a display notification window indicating reception of the vNote message if it is determined that the Bluetooth messenger is in operation, and displaying the received vNote message through the Bluetooth messenger in operation.

Abstract: A stereo support system and method for a mobile terminal are disclosed. The stereo support method uses a sound generation device having a sound generation main unit and a sound generation sub-unit to play a first audio material selected in a mobile terminal, and comprises: generating a second audio material by modifying phase or play-time properties of the first audio material; and streaming the first audio material to the sound generation main unit and the second audio material to the sound generation sub-unit. As a result, the user of a mobile terminal can enjoy stereo sounds using a monaural headset.
