  • Publication number: 20240146229
Abstract: A motor-driving apparatus for driving a motor having a plurality of windings respectively corresponding to a plurality of phases is provided. The motor-driving apparatus includes a first inverter having a plurality of first switching devices and connected to first ends of the plurality of windings and a second inverter having a plurality of second switching devices and connected to second ends of the plurality of windings. A third switching device is configured to selectively connect and disconnect points at which a number of turns of each of the windings is divided in a preset ratio. A controller is configured to adjust an on/off state of the first to third switching devices based on required output of the motor.

  • Publication number: 20210228463
Abstract: Provided is a composition for inhibiting fat formation and reducing body fat, the composition including hydrangenol as an active ingredient. The composition of the present disclosure reduces fat accumulation in adipocytes, reduces phosphorylation of mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR), and increases phosphorylation of forkhead box O1 (FoxO1), and finally, leading to reduction of an expression level of peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor gamma y (PPAR), and as a result, the composition inhibits formation of triglyceride in adipocytes to exhibit an anti-obesity effect. Accordingly, the composition including hydrangenol disclosed herein as an active ingredient may be usefully applied to the fields of health functional foods or cosmetics for inhibiting fat formation.

  • Publication number: 20210196677
Abstract: Provided is a method for preventing or improving UV-induced skin damage of a subject in need thereof, which comprises administering to the subject an effective amount of a composition containing hydrangenol derived from the extract of Hydrangea serrata as an active ingredient. The composition containing hydrangenol derived from the extract of Hydrangea serrata is able to increase secretion of hyaluronic acid and procollagen type-1 and inhibit secretion of MMP-1 in skin cells, and therefore effective in preventing or improving UV-induced damage of skin cells. Accordingly, the hydrangenol-containing composition is usefully available as a quasi-drug, drug, food, or cosmetic composition.

  • Publication number: 20060161246
Abstract: The object of this invention is to provide a stent for high frequency thermotherapy, which is fabricated by knitting first superlastic shape-memory alloy wires as a way to allow the first supereleastic shape-memory alloy wires to cross each other at different positions to make hollow cylindrical stent body having a net structure with a plurality of meshes. The stent body is covered with an insulating substance. A hollow cylindrical conductive body surrounds a waist part of the stent body while any one end or both ends of the conductive body is attached to the waist part of the stent body. At this time, the conductive body is fabricated by knitting second superelastic shape-memory allow wires as a way to allow the second superelastic shape-memory alloy wires to cross each other at different positions.

  • Publication number: 20060129144
Abstract: The object of the present invention is to provide an electrode device for high frequency thermotherapy, including a main casing, an electrode needle, a first engaging part, and a guide unit coupled to the engaging part to be longitudinally moved relative to the electrode needle. The guide unit has a guide tube to receive therein the electrode needle to expose a tip of the electrode needle to the outside of an end of the guide tube. Thus, the exposed length of the tip of the electrode needle is varied according to a position that the guide unit is coupled to the engaging part. The electrode device may further include a three-way valve -provided between the main casing and the guide unit to supply a liquid medicine or water t a desired part of a patient body.
