Abstract: An applicator that draws fine lines and dots includes a body sleeve having a shape of an elongated tube, a first drawing tool having a first section within the body sleeve and a first tip extending out from the body sleeve, wherein the first drawing tool reduces in size at a distal end of the first drawing tool, a second drawing tool having a second section within the body sleeve and a second tip extending out from the body sleeve, wherein the second drawing tool reduces in size at a distal end of the second drawing tool, and the first drawing tool, the second drawing tool, or both first and second drawing tools have a bend to bring the first and second tips closer together.

Abstract: Porous formulation storage cushion, formulation delivery systems including porous formulation storage cushions, and methods of additively manufacturing a porous formulation storage cushions are described. In an embodiment, the porous formulation storage cushion defines a plurality of pores configured to absorb a formulation, such as through wicking the formulation through capillary action. In an embodiment, the plurality of pores is configured to define a capillary force gradient along a length of the porous formulation storage cushion.

Abstract: A method for lengthening lashes is provided, along with a kit for accomplishing the method. The method comprises (i) applying a glue onto an eyelash, (ii) allowing the glue to dry for a period of time; and then (iii) depositing a separate individual fiber onto a distal portion of the eyelash using a microbristle brush applicator having a bristle density above 4 bristles/mm2, where each fiber has a diameter greater than 30 microns and a length of 4 mm or less and each fiber is held electrostatically by the microbristle brush applicator. Mascara can then be applied to some or all of the lash and attached fiber.

Abstract: Disclosed is an oxidizer-free method for providing semi-permanent curl to eyelashes, and a kit for use with the method. The method involves a three-step process: (i) applying a first composition that includes a reducing agent to an eyelash, (ii) applying a second composition that includes a contractile polymer to the eyelash, and (iii) manually lifting the eyelash. Unlike conventional lash lifting techniques, the disclosed method requires no glue, silicone pads, compositions with oxidizing agents, or heating.

Abstract: A cosmetic kit includes a composition that includes a wax emulsion and a polymer. The kit further includes an applicator with a plurality of bristles. At least one of the bristles is made of a thermoplastic elastomer having a hardness in a range of 32 shore D to 38 shore D. Also disclosed is a method of applying a cosmetic compound. The method includes the step of depositing the cosmetic compound on an applicator, wherein the composition includes a wax emulsion and a polymer. The applicator includes a plurality of bristles, and at least one of the bristles is formed from a thermoplastic elastomer having a hardness in a range of 32 shore D to 38 shore D. The method further includes the step of brushing the applicator against a keratin fiber to transfer the cosmetic compound from the applicator to the keratin fiber.
