Abstract: The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition in the form of an O/W emulsion, comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium: (a) at least one aqueous phase comprising water; (b) at least one fatty phase comprising, (i) at least one polar oil, (ii) at least one lipophilic UV filter, and (iii) at least one fatty acid; (c) at least one associative polymer; and (d) at least one hollow particle. The cosmetic composition according to the present invention can have high UV-shielding ability, while providing a fresh, water-like texture, and therefore, it can simultaneously provide both effective UV protection and good feeling during use.
