  • Patent number: 9931241
Abstract: A steam-generative warming device 10 having a steam generating element 30 that releases steam in association with heat generation accompanying the oxidation of an oxidizable metal. The steam generative warming device 10 contains a capsaicin analog and a menthol in a capsaicin analog/menthol mass ratio of 1/300 to 1/20000. It is preferred that the capsaicin analog be present in an element adapted to be brought into direct contact with the user's skin and the menthol be present in an element adapted not to be brought into contact with the user's skin.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: June 8, 2011
Date of Patent: April 3, 2018
    Assignee: KAO CORPORATION
Inventors: Kyouko Tagami, Katsutoshi Hara, Ichiro Sakamoto
  • Patent number: 9592149
Abstract: A heat generating device includes a heat generating element enclosed in an air-permeable stretch bag. The heat generating element includes an air-permeable first side adapted to be located proximal to the skin of a wearer, a second side adapted to be located distal to the skin of a wearer, and a heat generating member interposed between the first side and the second side. It is preferred that a part of the heat generating element is fixed to a part of the inner side of the stretch bag in the overlap between the stretch bag and the heat generating element in a plan view of the heat generating device.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: November 6, 2008
Date of Patent: March 14, 2017
    Assignee: Kao Corporation
Inventors: Yuki Hidaka, Kazuo Ohashi, Kyouko Tagami, Takeshi Oka, Ryuichi Noki, Takashi Higashi
