  • Publication number: 20160081433
Abstract: A lacing system for a shoe is disclosed. The lacing system for a shoe, according to the present invention, is a lacing system utilized for tying purposes so as to be coupled to string lacing eyelets of a dress shoe or a sneaker such that a shoe is firmly worn on the foot, and the lacing system for a shoe comprises: a body having elasticity; and hook portions which are respectively formed on both end portions of the body, and which are fastened by being inserted into the string coupling holes. Accordingly, the hook portions formed on both ends of the elastic body are coupled by being inserted and hooked into the string lacing eyelets when a dress shoe or a sneaker is worn such that the body is firmly fastened so as to prevent untying.

  • Publication number: 20100299948
Abstract: A tape measure is provided capable of controlling the retracting movement and speed of a tape with a friction force. The tape measure includes a case, a reel, a spiral spring, a tape, a pivot member, a friction member and a resilient member. The reel is rotatably retained within the case. The spiral spring resiliently urges the reel to rotate in a rewinding direction. The pivot member is pivotally mounted within the case. The friction member is operably coupled to the pivot member and makes contact with the tape wound on the outer circumference of the reel, thereby applying a friction force to the tape. The resilient member resiliently biases the pivot member to rotate in such a direction as to bring the friction member into contact with the tape.

  • Publication number: 20090191508
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a mini implant. In the mini implant, friction is generated at a tapered portion through screw-coupling between a fixture's post portion and an abutment's post hole, so that the so-called friction-lock technique can be employed to not only completely couple the fixture and abutment without relying on cement or a mallet, but also uniformly maintain connectivity between the fixture and the abutment, regardless of the dental surgeon. The fixture defines the tapered portion at a top of an implanted portion defining screw threads in an outer periphery thereof. The post portion is formed above the tapered portion and defines screw roots. The abutment defines the post hole in a lower, inner region thereof and a prosthesis mount at an upper region thereof. The post hole defines screw threads corresponding to the screw roots of the post portion.
