  • Patent number: 7121334
Abstract: A refrigerator has at least one chamber, a temperature adjuster adjusting a temperature inside the chamber, a first temperature sensor approximately sensing the temperature inside the chamber, a second temperature sensor spaced from the first temperature sensor so as to sense the real temperature inside the chamber, and a controller controlling the temperature adjuster according to the temperature sensed by the second temperature sensor when the temperature sensed by the first temperature sensor is within predetermined temperature limits of the chamber and the temperature sensed by the second temperature sensor is not. With this configuration, the temperature inside the chamber is effectively controlled by an accurate and prompt sensing operation. Though one of the first and second temperature sensors is abnormal, it is possible to replace or repair the abnormal temperature sensor, or to control the temperature adjuster by the other normal temperature sensor.

  • Publication number: 20060087373
Abstract: An apparatus and a method for controlling a bias adaptation bias of a high power amplifier. In the high power amplifier, a coupling operation is performed with respect to an input signal with a predetermined voltage, an amount of attenuation used for attenuating a voltage of the coupled input signal is adjusted corresponding to the voltage of the input signal, a bias adaptation bias is created correspondingly to a voltage obtained by attenuating the voltage of the input signal by the amount of the attenuation, and the coupled input signal is amplified corresponding to the bias adaptation bias, thereby performing a signal amplifying operation for maintaining linearity of an input signal, regardless of an average input voltage intensity of the input signal.

  • Patent number: 6453692
Abstract: A method for controlling a refrigerator constructed with a main body formed with a storage compartment accommodating therein food, a door opening and closing the storage compartment, a temperature sensor provided within the main body, by detecting a temperature of the main body, cooling is provided to the main body to cool the storage compartment in steps of establishing a control temperature of the temperature sensor to correspond to the temperature of the storage compartment; and continuously operating the cooling means until the temperature detected by the temperature sensor reaches the control temperature at an initial operation state. With this configuration, because the compressor is continuously operated until the temperature detected by the temperature sensor reaches the control temperature, the rate of cooling the stored food is enhanced and at the same time a desired storage temperature is achieved.
