  • Patent number: 11472355
Abstract: A falling-over detection device is mounted on a motorcycle. The falling-over detection device includes an acceleration sensor that detects acceleration at an interval decided by an interval adjusting device, a threshold value determining device that determines whether or not a detected angle is larger than a predetermined threshold value, a counting device that counts the number of times it is determined that the detected angle is larger than the threshold value, and a falling-over determining device that determines that the motorcycle has fallen over in a case where the count is successive a predetermined number of times. The interval adjusting device uses a pulse generated based on white noise as an interval, and therefore noise does not successively affect a value detected by the acceleration sensor.

  • Patent number: 10689045
Abstract: An acceleration detector is placed on a side stand portion attached to the main body of a side-stand-equipped vehicle. The acceleration detector has a CPU. In a side stand state detection mode, the CPU detects the state of the side stand portion according to a detection signal from the acceleration detector. In an orientation detection mode, the CPU detects the orientation of the main body of the side-stand-equipped vehicle.

  • Publication number: 20180224336
Abstract: A temperature sensor includes a case including a body portion and a tubular portion projecting outward from the body portion, the tubular portion being formed in a tubular shape closed at a side defining a tip, a temperature sensor element arranged within the tubular portion at the tip, a wire member connected to the temperature sensor element, a retaining portion disposed within the tubular portion at a position closer to the body portion than the temperature sensor element, the retaining portion being filled with a retaining material to support the wire member, and a heat insulating section disposed between the temperature sensor element and the retaining portion, the heat insulating section including a heat insulating member made of a less heat-transferable material than the retaining material.

  • Publication number: 20080049134
Abstract: A camera system includes a frame memory having a capacity for storing at least two frames of image data, and stores images output from an image sensor into this frame memory on a frame-by-frame basis. The stored image data is read out and displayed on a monitor. When a shutter button is pressed halfway, a focus operation is started. An image at the point of half-pressing of the shutter button is displayed on the monitor as a still image until the focus operation is completed. Upon completion of the focus operation, the image is switched to a normal image or a macro image in a focused state. Accordingly, this prevents a blurry image from being displayed during a focus operation, thereby reducing a sense of discomfort imparted to a user that can be caused as a result of displaying a blurry image.

  • Publication number: 20070019088
Abstract: A mobile phone includes a camera module including an imaging element in which light-receiving pixel groups for photoelectrically converting incident light are formed on a substrate, and an input/output unit that processes signals from the imaging element, and a control unit that identifies the imaging element on the basis of signals from the camera module. The light-receiving pixel groups of the imaging element are composed of a plurality of normal light-receiving pixels capable of detecting incident light, and a plurality of defective light-receiving pixels that does not detect incident light. The input/output unit outputs position information of the defective light-receiving pixels, and the control unit identifies the imaging element on the basis of the position information of the defective light-receiving pixels.
