Abstract: Disclosed are a membrane coupled activated sludge method and apparatus operating anoxic/anaerobic processes alternately for removal of nitrogen and phosporus, wherein nitrogen and phosphorous together with organics in the sewage, wastewater, filthy water etc. can be simultaneously removed with an economic and efficient manner, an operation thereof is easy and efficient, a capacity thereof is high and the method is economic due to the reduced operating costs with performing measurement and control of a recycle rate, a recycle time of alternate operation of the anoxic and anaerobic process, an amount of sludge, an amount of aeration and an operation of a blower for an intermittent membrane cleaning.

Abstract: A data transmission device is implemented using SAW filters, passive elements. The transmission device includes a controller that receives transmission data, checks the state of every two bits thereof, and controls the input path of a pulse signal according to the checked state; a switching unit that includes selective output terminals and performs switching under control of the controller to output a received pulse signal to one of the output terminals; and a SAW filter array that includes SAW filters, which receive pulse signals respectively from the output terminals and demodulate the pulse signals respectively into analog signals having different frequency characteristics.

Abstract: A digital television (DTV) data stream contains a plurality of subtitle streams having different subtitle sizes and a program map table (PMT) associated with the subtitle streams. The PMT includes a subtitle scale information descriptor which includes a plurality of subtitle scale information sets specifying the subtitle sizes of the subtitle streams, respectively. The subtitle scale information descriptor is included in a second descriptor loop of the PMT, and each subtitle scale information descriptor includes a language code identifying a language of a corresponding subtitle stream, and scale information representing a ratio of a subtitle size of the subtitle stream to a reference subtitle size.
