  • Patent number: 5806701
Abstract: A container having an anticontact cutout-structure around each corner is disclosed. The cutout-structure almost completely prevents a twist lock from unexpectedly coming into contact with the edge frames of each corner and allows the edge frames to be free from being crushed or broken by the twist lock. In order to form the anticontact cutout-structure, a top cutout is formed on each of the top edge frames at a position around each of the top corner castings, while a bottom cutout is formed on each of the bottom edge frames at a position around each of the bottom corner castings. Each of the top and bottom cutouts has a length and depth suitable for preventing each of the top and bottom edge frames from coming into contact with the twist lock. A metal panel is attached to the surface of each of the top and bottom cutouts, thus protecting each cutout from the twist lock.

  • Patent number: 5507605
Abstract: A finger hole drilling machine for a bowling ball is disclosed. The drilling machine includes a ball seat assembly, an air suction/expelling valve unit, a marking pen assembly and a turntable assembly. The ball seat assembly has a ball seat housing of the box type for tilting the bowling ball forward and backward, and a ball seat movably placed on the ball seat housing and adapted for tilting the bowling ball leftward and rightward. The drilling machine identically drills the finger holes on a plurality of bowling balls of a bowler, thus to achieve identity of the finger holes of the bowling balls. The drilling machine also readily sets the drilling positions on the bowling balls, thus to save time and to readily finish the finger hole drilling work and to improve the efficiency of the finger hole drilling work.

  • Patent number: 5496779
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of fabricating a metal semiconductor field effect transistor, comprising the steps for, forming the channel using an ion-implantation, sequentially forming a first insulator layer at a first predetermined temperature and a second insulation layer at second predetermined temperature over the surface of the substrate, etching the first and second insulation layers using a gate pattern of a photo-resist pattern to expose the channel region as a mask, forming a refractory metal over the surface of the first and second insulation layer add the exposed channel region, etching the refractory metal, thereby dividing it into two parts of which one is formed on the channel region and the other is formed on the second insulation layer, selectively etching the first and second insulation layers to lift-off the refractory metal over the first and second insulation layers, thereby forming a gate of a T-shape on the channel region, ion implanting Si into a substrate using the gate and a channel pattern

  • Patent number: 5327530
Abstract: A video board in a personal computer supports a 2-gray level monitor as well as a 4-gray level monitor, by serving both the 1-bit plane video board operation and the 2-bit plane video board operation. A video output controller, having a shift register, a jumper and a divider, generates video output signals according to the selection made between the 1-bit and the 2-bit plane video boards. The shift register shifts the inputted data according to the order of the clock pulses. In the case of the 1-bit plane video board operation, eight clock pulses are supplied with a clock pulse input line connected to the clock generator output line by the jumper, while in the case of the 2-bit plane video board operation, four clock pulses are supplied with the clock pulse input line coupled to the divider by the jumper. The frequency of the clock pulses from the clock generator is divided by 2 through passing the divider. The decision of the operations of each bit plane video board is made by the jumper.
