  • Publication number: 20130045266
Abstract: A new polymeric material for biological tissue regeneration or treatment with a drug delivery system which contains therapeutic agents and/or bioactive molecules to reduce infection and inflammatory reaction at a wound site and maximize tissue regeneration and wound healing is provided. The new bioactive molecule-loaded polymeric material is prepared by (1) preparing micrometer or nanometer sized bioactive molecule-loaded particles; (2) modifying the surface of the prepared particles and immobilizing the particles on the surface of the polymeric material; and (3) physically treating the surface of the polymeric material to improve binding strength of the particles immobilized thereon.

  • Patent number: 6285340
Abstract: A helical antenna having a simple structure and being made of cheap conductor to reduce the manufacturing cost, and a manufacturing method thereof. A helical antenna comprises a dielectric core, a conductive strip, a feeding conductor, and an external circuit. The dielectric core has a substantially cylindrical shape with an outer circumferential surface on which a spiral groove is formed. The conductive strip is deposited on the groove of the dielectric core. The feeding conductor is placed under the dielectric core and provides an electrical connection between the conductive strip and an external circuit. The antenna cover encloses the dielectric core and the feeding conductor.

  • Patent number: 5876130
Abstract: An apparatus for driving a ribbon of a printer allows a ribbon driving shaft to move the forward/back and right/left directions for being moved together with a ribbon cartridge when the ribbon cartridge is moved by centering about a hub, thereby smoothly transmitting a rotating force toward the hub. For this operation, the apparatus includes the ribbon cartridge winding with a ribbon to be coupled with the ribbon driving shaft, and a driving bevel gear and a driven bevel gear installed to the inside of a printer main body for rotating the ribbon driving shaft, in which a ratchet rotating in one direction is formed to a lower portion of the ribbon driving shaft, a ratchet wheel brought into meshing engagement with the ratchet is formed along the inner periphery of the driven bevel gear, and movement guiding means is installed to a bottom plate forming the printer main body for guiding to be capable of moving together with the rotation of the ribbon driving shaft.

  • Patent number: 5842797
Abstract: In a multi-color changing apparatus of a small-sized printer, a ribbon color of the printer can be changed by a novel structure highly suitable as a ribbon-cartridge converting apparatus for two colors not for four colors because of its simple structure to enhance productivity and lower manufacturing cost without a high-priced stepping motor.
