    Abstract: A method for installing ActiveX controls is disclosed. The method comprises transmitting a webpage to a user client, the webpage containing information of an ActiveX control necessary for the operation of the webpage in the form of a parameter; and receiving ActiveX control request information included in the parameter from the user client; wherein the webpage contains information of an integrated installer ActiveX control, which includes a module for installing the ActiveX controls necessary for the operation of the webpage in the form of an OBJECT tag, and contains script, which calls the module of the integrated installer ActiveX control and controls the installation of the ActiveX controls necessary for the operation of the webpage; and through the control of the script, the user client determines whether or not the ActiveX controls necessary for the operation of the webpage is installed and downloads ActiveX controls that need to be installed.
