The pixel includes a driving transistor, a storage capacitor and a light emitting element. In an initialization period, the reference voltage is applied to a gate of the driving transistor, and the initialization voltage is applied to a source of the driving transistor. In a compensation period, the driving transistor is turned on based on the reference voltage such that a threshold voltage of the driving transistor is stored between first and second electrodes of the storage capacitor. The panel driver adjusts at least one of the reference voltage and the initialization voltage according to the brightness value.
