The blend of polylactic acid resin and copolyester resin, comprises 5 to 94 wt % of a polylactic acid resin; 3 to 92 wt % of a copolyester resin comprising a dicarboxylic acid component, which contains a terephthalic acid residue, and a diol component which contains 3 to 99 mol % of a cyclohexanedimethanol residue and 1 to 60 mol % of an isosorbide residue; and 3-30 wt % of a compatibilizer containing at least one reactive functional group selected from the group consisting of glycidyl, maleic anhydride, epoxy, isocyanate, amino, carboxylic acid and oxazoline groups, and mixtures thereof.

The food container includes a main body having an entrance formed on a topside thereof, a cover opening and closing the entrance, a plurality of fixing members including one end rotatably secured to a side surface of the main body and the other end detachably connected with an edge part of the cover, to secure the cover to the main body selectively, and a handle sliding-movable on a top surface of the cover and contactable with the plurality of the fixing members, to push the plurality of the fixing members according to the sliding to unlock the securing between the cover and the main body.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to polyarylene sulfide, in which a ratio of a peak area of a polymer chain of a second polyarylene sulfide having a lower molecular weight than the maximum peak molecular weight to a peak area of a polymer chain of a first polyarylene sulfide having a higher molecular weight than the maximum peak molecular weight is 1.3 or less in the molecular weight distribution of the polyarylene sulfide, as measured by gel permeation chromatography using polystyrene as a standard, and a preparation method thereof. This polyarylene sulfide exhibits excellent processability and generates no burrs (flashes) or the like, and can satisfactorily mold a product requiring high molding precision.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for preparing a polyester resin in which isosorbide is copolymerized, and more particularly, to a method for preparing a copolymerized polyester resin containing isosorbide, comprising the steps of: adding glycols containing ethylene glycol and isosorbide to terephthalic acid or dimethyl terephthalate such that the feed molar ratio of total glycols to terephthalic acid or dimethyl terephthalate is 1.05 to 3.0 to allow an esterification reaction; and polycondensing the esterification product using titanium-based compounds of copolymers of titanium dioxide and silicon dioxide, and copolymers of titanium dioxide and zirconium dioxide, as a copolymerization catalyst, and using phosphorous compounds as a stabilizer. The copolymerized polyester resin containing isosorbide prepared according to the present invention exhibits superior reactive properties and productivity, and reduces the quantity of metal used as a catalyst and improves the clarity of a polymer.
