  • Patent number: 10363916
Abstract: Disclosed herein are a pressure control apparatus and a pressure control method thereof. The pressure control apparatus includes an input unit configured to receive an input of a current pressure value of a brake apparatus detected by a detection apparatus when drive of the brake apparatus is prepared, a determination unit configured to determine whether the input current pressure value is a preset standard pressure value, and a control unit configured to receive the current pressure value, transfer a determination command to the determination unit, transfer a hydraulic adjustment command to the brake apparatus so that the current pressure value reaches the standard pressure value when the current pressure value is not the standard pressure value, and cause an on/off operation of the brake apparatus to be iterated a predetermined number of times for a predetermined time.

  • Patent number: 9522665
Abstract: Disclosed are an electronic brake system and a control method thereof. The electronic brake system includes a master cylinder including a piston, an output rod contacting the piston, an input rod configured to be moved forward by a driver's manipulation of a brake pedal and arranged coaxially to the master cylinder and spaced a predetermined isolation gap apart from the output rod, an electrically-driven booster including a motor, a ball screw to move the output rod, and a motion converting unit to move the ball screw forward and backward by converting rotational movement of the motor into linear movement, and an electronic control unit (ECU) to control operation of the motor based on the size of the isolation gap. When the ball screw is moved backward in an ABS mode, the ECU stops backward-movement of the ball screw before the output rod collides with the input rod.

  • Publication number: 20160236665
Abstract: An electronic brake system according to the present invention includes a reservoir that stores oil, a cylinder that receives supply of oil from the reservoir, a piston that is provided so as to be moved forward and backward within the cylinder, a spring that is provided within the cylinder and provides an elastic reaction force to the piston, a motor that generates a rotational force for driving the piston in accordance with an electrical signal of a pedal displacement sensor, a ball screw that converts a rotational motion of the motor into a linear motion to drive the piston, and an ECU (electronic control unit) that controls the motor. Here, a normally closed type solenoid valve that is closed in a normal state and opened when an open signal is applied from the ECU may be provided on the hydraulic line connecting the reservoir and the cylinder.

  • Publication number: 20150137719
Abstract: Provided are an apparatus for controlling a 3-phase motor and a method for maintaining a high torque therein, which are capable of preventing excessive heat generation in a coil, through which a phase current flows, by causing an AC current to flow in a specific phase when a 3-phase motor maintains a high torque. The apparatus for controlling the 3-phase motor includes: a sensor configured to sense torques flowing through three phases of the 3-phase motor; and a controller configured to determine whether the torques of the three phases, which are detected by the sensor, maintain a high torque, and to perform control such that, when it is determined that the detected torques maintain the high torque, a DC signal is applied to a specific phase among the three phases and an AC signal is applied to the other phases.
