  • Patent number: 7084821
Abstract: A fixing hole and a locating hole of an automobile's roof are aligned in a predetermined direction while a fixing part and a locator pin of an antenna unit are aligned in a slightly different direction on the condition the antenna unit is oriented in the predetermined direction. The antenna unit is placed on the roof and a male screw is engaged with a female screw fixed to the fixing part to attach a fixing attachment. By tightening the female screw, the roof is held tight between the antenna unit and the fixing attachment and thereby the antenna unit is fixed to the roof. In this case, the antenna unit is oriented in the predetermined direction with a high degree of accuracy due to clearances between the fixing hole and the fixing part and between the locating hole and the locator pin.

  • Publication number: 20050184923
Abstract: For fixing an object to a fixing plate by a fixing portion of the object and a fixing member, a fixing device includes a first screw member formed on the object and a second screw member corresponding to the first screw member. The fixing member includes a bottom plate portion provided with a through hole allowing a threaded portion of the second screw member to pass therethrough and a plurality of spring portions extending from the bottom plate portion in one direction. The bottom plate portion has an outer dimension smaller than a fixing hole formed on the fixing plate. A combination of the spring portions extends in the one direction from the bottom plate portion having an outer dimension greater than the fixing hole in at least an upper part thereof. Each of the spring portions has lateral sides provided with cut-away portions formed by cutting the lateral sides from the bottom plate portion in the one direction.

  • Publication number: 20050167142
Abstract: A washer 31 is mounted on a cable 20 at one end portion 21 and the washer 31 is staked to a skin of the cable 20. The skin of the cable 20 is coated with polytetrafluoroethylene or PTFE. The washer 31 is made of brass. Subsequently, a bushing member 32 is integrally molded on the washer 31 to the cable 20 by injection molding. The bushing member 32 is made of polyvinyl chloride or PVC. Thereby, a cable bush 30A is mounted on the cable 20 with cable bush 30A securely fixed to the cable 20.

  • Patent number: 5860776
Abstract: A main spindle apparatus for machine tools wherein a tool holder (T) having an anchoring edge on an inner circumferential surface and inserted into an attachment hole of a main spindle (1) is anchored to the main spindle (1) by expanding a collet (12) having an anchoring portion on the outer circumferential surface so that the anchoring portion engages with the anchoring edge. Pressure receiving surfaces (12b, 12c) which gradually decrease in diameter in approaching the tip are formed on the inner circumferential surface of the collet (12). The main spindle (1) is provided with a push rod (2) which expands the collet by means of pressure applying surfaces (2d, 2e) formed on the outer circumferential surface and gradually decreasing in diameter in approaching the tip, which press the pressure receiving surfaces (12b, 12c) of the collet (12) when the push rod (2) is moved forward so as to approach the tool holder (T).

  • Patent number: 5439434
Abstract: A simple and efficient tool exchanger device is presented. The device has a pair of swing arms (8, 9), and each swing arm is provided with a set of grippers (11, 12) for holding a tool bit. The positions of the swing arms (8, 9) are separated by 90 degree so that they will not interfere with each other during the swinging motion. One driving device (2) is provided to operate both swing arms (8, 9) and operate the gripper devices (11, 12). The swing arm (8) rotates upwards to remove a used tool bit (10) from the machining shaft (21) of a machining center and the other swing arm (9) is rotated downwards to install a new tool bit (10') in the vacated machining shaft in a single simultaneous step.
