    Abstract: A substrate, at least one surface of which is partially or entirely flat, the substrate having: a substrate molded from first substrate-forming particles; second substrate-forming particles partially or entirely filled into first pores which are formed by the first substrate-forming particles on at least one surface of the substrate; and a polymer partially or entirely filled into second pores remaining in a region in which the second substrate-forming particles are filled. Also disclosed is a method for preparing a thin or thick film, including the aligning non-spherical seed crystals on a flat portion of at least one surface of the substrate such that an a-axis, a b-axis, and/or a c-axis are oriented according to a certain rule; and exposing the aligned seed crystals to a solution for enabling the growth of the seed crystals to thereby form and grow a film from the seed crystals using a secondary growing technique.

    Abstract: Provided are a method for preparing a thin film or a thick film, including: a first step of providing a porous substrate capable of supplying silicon; a second step of applying zeolite seed crystals onto the surface of the porous substrate; a third step of coating the seed crystals-applied porous substrate with an aqueous solution containing a structure-directing agent; and a fourth step of forming and growing a film from the seed crystals by the secondary growth above a temperature at which moisture inside the seed crystals-applied porous substrate prepared in the third step can form steam, and a film prepared by the method. The film manufacturing method of the present invention is a simple manufacturing process, and thus has high reproducibility and high throughput. Since a synthetic gel is not used and a solution is used, the unnecessary consumption of materials, environmental pollution, and waste of a synthetic gel can be prevented while not necessitating drying and washing of a film.

The present invention requiring no solvents, reactors and other equipments enables molecular sieve crystals to be stably attached to the surface of substrates through various chemical bonds, particularly ionic present invention ensures the synthesis of substrate-molecular sieve composites with enhanced attachment rate, degree of lateral close packing (DCP) and attachment strength in more time-saving and energy-saving manners. The present method works well for molecular sieve crystals with lager sizes (e.g., more than 3 ?m) with no generation of parasitic crystals.
