  • Patent number: 9573412
Abstract: Provided is a method of manufacturing an ornament inlaid with mother-of-pearl, which makes the ornament inlaid with mother-of-pearl look more beautiful by harmoniously forming the ornament inlaid with mother-of-pearl on a corresponding surface. The method includes: applying an acrylic polymer onto a surface to be inlaid with mother-of-pearl to enable subsequent painting to be smoothly performed; painting the surface applied with the acrylic polymer with colors; drawing a picture on the surface painted with the colors; adding and boiling each of the mother-of-pearl and salt in water having a dyeing color dissolved therein for each color, and bonding the mother-of-pearl dyed with each color onto a corresponding portion of the surface of the picture by using an adhesive, followed by drying; and applying paint onto the entire surface, followed by drying.

  • Patent number: 8691882
Abstract: Provided are an organic-inorganic hybrid scaffold with surface-immobilized nano-hydroxyapatite, and a method for the fabrication thereof. The scaffold is fabricated by reacting an acid group present on a surface of nano-hydroxyapatite with a primary amine present on a surface of a polymer support in the presence of EDC (1-ethyl-3-dimethylaminopropyl carbodiimide) to immobilize nano-hydroxyapatite onto the surface of the polymer support. The surface of nano-hydroxyapatite is previously grafted with poly(ethylene glycol methacrylate phosphate) (PolyEGMP) having phosphonic acid functionality or with a polymer having carboxylic acid functionality.

  • Patent number: 7202376
Abstract: The present invention is related to a method of producing polycarbosilane by heating polydimethylsilane at low pressure within the range of 320˜450° C. using zeolite having the Si/Al or Si/B ratio of 1˜200 as catalyst. This invention uses a zeolite with the structure of ZSM-5, ZSM-11, ZSM-12, zeolite X and zeolite Y, which has the Si/Al or Si/B ratio of 1˜200, as catalyst. When polycarbosilane is produced using a specific zeolite as catalyst, Si/Al or Si/B ratio can be adjusted at any proportion, enabling acidity control of catalyst, and therefore the molecular weight of final products can be easily controlled and the product yield can be improved, compared to conventional solid acid catalysts.
