Publication number: 20220241067Abstract: Proposed is an intraocular lens capable of improving a change in refractive power of the lens by receiving transferred movement of the zonule of Zinn. The present invention is an intraocular lens inserted into the capsular sac, the intraocular lens consisting of an optic portion and a haptic portion, wherein the optic portion includes a front membrane, a rear membrane, and an internal space. The shape of the optic portion changes by the haptic portion receiving transferred external movement. The optic portion has additional regulatory power due to a curvature difference between the inner surfaces of the front membrane and the rear membrane, and thus provides a lens having a wide range of refractive power.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 19, 2020Publication date: August 4, 2022Inventor: Kyung Jin PARK

Publication number: 20120209673Abstract: The present invention relates to a system and method for merchant's benefit-focused electronic coupon distribution business. The invention provides an online platform connecting merchants to targeted consumers without sales people. The online platform provides merchants with profile pages where the merchants can manage and sell coupon offerings. Consumers can search and purchase one-time use coupons based on the coupon offerings. Each one-time use coupon carries unique identification number and code, and the coupon is tracked to provide information back to registered merchants. This invention minimizes the risk and marketing promotion cost by shifting the burden of marketing cost to the consumers' side. Instead of paving for marketing costs upfront, merchants receive micropayments from consumers through coupon offerings and selling one-time use coupons. This invention creates a get-paid-to-participate-marketing for merchants, and ways to access more discounts from more local businesses for consumers.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 7, 2012Publication date: August 16, 2012Inventor: Kyung Jin Park

Patent number: 8085895Abstract: A grid strap includes a spacer grid spring that increases the conformal contact area with a fuel rod of a nuclear fuel rod assembly. The shape of the spacer grid spring is optimized, thereby increasing the elasticity of the spacer grid spring contacting the fuel rod, expanding the conformal contact area with a contact portion between the spacer grid spring and fuel rod to obtain uniform stress distribution, and reducing excessive plastic deformation of the spacer grid spring. Further, magnitude and distribution of contact pressure between the fuel rod and the spacer grid spring are improved, thereby reducing the possibility of fretting wear caused by contact between the fuel rod and the spacer grid spring. Lastly, the elastic behavior region of the spacer grid spring is expanded, so that the fuel rod can be reliably supported until the fuel rod expires despite changes in the supporting conditions of the fuel rod.Type: GrantFiled: February 16, 2007Date of Patent: December 27, 2011Assignees: Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd.Inventors: Kee-Nam Song, Kyung-Ho Yoon, Kun-Woo Song, Kang-Hee Lee, Kyung-Jin Park
